SRS Consulting Sponsors “Do Good Delray” Event Benefiting Habitat for Humanity

On October 25, 2021, SRS Consulting, a Management Consulting business serving non-profit organizations sponsored “Breakfast & Build”, an event designed to promote and support Habitat for Humanity, a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S. and in approximately 70 countries. The event was held at a Habitat for Humanity house under construction in Boynton Beach, Florida. This was one of many fundraisers coordinated by the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce under its banner “Do Good Delray.”

There is a dire need for affordable, well-constructed housing in our community. No one is more successful in seeking to fulfill that need than Habitat for Humanity. I was pleased to partner with Habitat and the Delray Chamber to promote this worthy cause
— Stuart Silver, President, SRS Consulting, Delray Beach

Attendees learned first-hand about the construction process and the resources needed to build and finance housing for eligible homeowners. Participants were also given an opportunity to 'get their hands dirty' by taking part in light construction activities on the site such as putting up drywall with a nail gun and cutting lumber with a table saw.

I learned a lot about how Habitat helps deserving families obtain a roof over their heads through community involvement and corporate participation. It’s a very worthy non-profit organization.
— Rick Waters, CMO, HiRise Digital, Boca Raton

The event was a great success: it raised dollars through contributions and a raffle, and increased awareness of the outstanding work being done by Habitat for Humanity in South Palm Beach County.
